"Forevermore"

In the "All For A Song" scene a few days ago, November 16, BW Lane was going to sing a song at DEE'S BackPorch. This was an answer to the old discussion of "what lasts forever?"


INT. DEE'S BACKPORCH - NIGHT


The bar is packed. Wait staff is busy serving food and drink. Dee is behind the bar checking inventory and reacting with the heightened evening business. Customers are enjoying themselves as BW ends a song that he's playing in the background.


ANGLE STAGE

BW has just finished a song and he waits for the room to quiet before he starts to speak. After a couple of almost uneasy moments, the patrons realize and then honor the silence. As the room quiets, he makes his introduction.


BW
The next song... I didn't write.

BW looks at Dee to make sure he has her attention. At his remark, she looks up surprised, in knowing that he never sings any material he didn't write.


BW (cont.)
I just finished a song that someone else started...and never...

He looks at Dee and she remains glued intensely to his every word. It's as if they are the only two people in the place.


BW (cont.)
I found it in an old guitar case...in a closet...in this old tavern...

Dee owns the impact of what is coming. The realization comes as BW looks straight at her and starts to smile.


BW (cont.)
There was a note with it, it said...'some songs are never heard. Please finish this, and if it ain't too late, sing it for Dee...and sing it hard'.


Dee purses her lips to keep from crying, a tear rolls down her cheek as BW starts the song.
He sings with new inspiration.


BW (cont.-singing)
We were sitting alone, she was the Princess and I was the frog.
I'll never forget...the kiss that she gave me, because I turned into a King
In a moment with her.

Thank God for memories, it was a Sunday, and we were laughing...
...and that's when I told her, that she'd remember, forevermore.

By now, she's sitting alone, the Princess is Queen, and the frog is gone.
The days, and the seasons, and the years they go by her...
like a 'two-minute ending' on a 'ten-second' song.

Thank God for memories, 'cause on some Friday, when the game is over, she may remember,
...the time I told her, memories last forever, Forevermore.


(A lot happens while the song continues...so that will be for another day.)

What do you think lasts forever? Ideally, Lane had a good idea. If you can, live so your life will not be long ending on a short song.

How's this scenario? This lights up my Indicator and Warning Lights...Big Time.

Gingrich and Romney are both being overtly trounced by the Main Stream Media for a reason. Why? We all know about the 'brite-shiny thing over there' but what more? The Media knows that Obama is on a hot seat as to whether Soros, Ayers, the liberals and democrats even want him to run because of his overtly hostile attitude towards the Democrats in Congress and his disgraceful attitude toward Americans in general. Then, he continues with his heralded arrogance and his profound "57-state" type gaffs. (He talks about the 'English Embassy' in Iran? Give me a break! He has duel citizenship with the 'UK'...or was it 'England'? Most Chiefs of State know the difference.)

It's apparent to some among us that he can't go parading the streets again... naked! The people can see that he has no clothes... even if the Media won't admit it! Next? The Media sets the stage, they think, by trying to direct the Republicans to a candidate. What happens next after Iowa and New Hampshire? Romney? Or not. Obama vs. Gingrich debate? It won't happen, but it should. Nonetheless, Newt won't let him hide or run for cover and he'll stay on Obama's tail. It's like Seabiscuit following War Admiral; yes, a "Match Race, we want a Match Race!"

As the process plays on, the plot thickens. If Romney mounts a comeback and appears to be the candidate, the process might take longer. However, if Gingrich gets a strong lead early on, look for the time table to be sooner. Since crisis is an attractive weapon for this administration, Obama will continue to drive the country, and the world, into economic chaos. Unfortunately, Israel will bear the brunt of the Muslim rage. Barack has been coddling Iran all along, friendship or Valerie Jarrett? To clear the trail, Obama fosters confusion through Iran sanctions and creates Crisis in the Middle East.

Then the twist. Obama won't run because he'll see the Handwriting on the Wall. He's trying to continue to sell 'failure' as 'change', but people will finally see beyond his lies and deceit! All of Washinton politics is a lie, and yes, people will understand "The Truth of Obama." He did it on purpose! He has and will continue to destroy America 'on purpose'. You CANNOT make a zero on a True/False test by accident! He did everything exactly as it should have been done to destroy our economy, future, confidence in government and our feelings toward each other. Class warfare and greed prevail, and no one smiles anymore.

That being said, Bill Clinton will yank the right chain and someone in the Media will head for Maricopa County, Arizona to get Arpaio's story released Re: Obama's Non-Citizenship. The Truth already exists, only needing the right 'Pulitzer Prize' chasing reporter to break the story. (The 'Deep Throats' will line up when the cow escapes the barn.) The Gig is Up.

Then ..it happens. The Media denies complicity and hides by debasing the Congress for not vetting Obama, and failing in their oversight of the administration and it's legislation. Obama leaves with his Billion Dollar war chest; yes, for asylum in a country which does not have extradition treaties with the United States. Hillary, with Bill's help, picks up the Democratic pieces and runs for President with Colin Powell as her VP. The Republicans self-destruct in recognition that they couldn't find ONE "pair of balls" in all of Washington and, as a result never pursued Obama themselves. Trump and Palin will unite for the TEA party vote and the naive Paul will run as a third party candidate. Romney's liberal-leaning 15% goes to Hillary and she wins with 44, against 40, 14.

There doesn't seem to be much we can do about it, unless someone, who has BIG stroke with the media, takes Arpaio's findings public ahead of schedule. And they need to break the whole thing really big before the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries. Beating the Liberals to the punch may be the only way to derail the plan. So we have to continue in one calm voice....NO! NO! STOP! HE HAS NO CLOTHES! WAKE UP, AMERICA! HE WON'T SHOW HIS REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE! PLEASE LOOK AT THIS! HE WON'T REVEAL HIS REAL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! MAKE THE MEDIA GET SOME ANSWERS! STOP AND LOOK AGAIN! WE OWE ANSWERS TO OUR KIDS, THEIR FUTURE! WHY DID HE SURRENDER HIS LAW LICENSE! WHY DIDN'T WE VET THIS GUY? STOP! WHAT DOES HE CARE ABOUT US? ABOUT AMERICA? HE DOESN'T CARE! WHAT IS HIS RECORD? AMERICANS, PLEASE...SPEAK OUT! WHILE We Still can......

For the sake of the country, I hope you see this the way I do, and start something. I'm thinking a new Constitutional Convention with planks like: Freedom of Speech and Religion, Term Limits, Laws against stealing from the people (government, corporations, individuals), and a few more. Please think it over and let me know where you stand... like Lovell said in Apollo 13, 'hurry with that plan, Houston, the world is getting big in the window.'

Parallel Worlds: The Dilemmas of Penn State and Obama These two cases mystify me. I just can't get my mind around them. This  is not to say that the circumstances are exactly the same (though rape, cover-up, scars lasting forever-all seem similar), but rather in the manner by which the MainStreamMedia (MSM) and the protectors of the subjects, tend to focus attention  away from the "real" truth,  i.e. 'shoot the messenger'. Now, we will watch as the MSM, in all probability, will support the Police and say they have no proof of McQueary's (discoverer of the heinous crime) notification. Then it's time to "cover and run." The Penn State Police, Penn State personnel, Prosecutors, Judges and plenty of unnamed sources will all line up together and change the focus. Why? Because they collectively stood by and watched these abhorrent acts happen with their knowledge, then allowed it's continuation. . . and didn't react for three years! Similarly, in both cases, Penn State as with Obama, somebody: covered it up, allowed it to happen, and let it continue! Those who will be hiding from failures of 'Obama's vetting' will include: the  MSM Correspondents, Pundits, Congressmen, Senators, Justices, Union Leaders, Political Party Chiefs, Crony Capitalists and ignorant Americans! These entities stood by and watched while a man, with no proof of American citizenship...no actual proof of significant personal history...was allowed to plunder the American economy IN PLAIN SIGHT!! Ask yourself "How do you miss ALL the questions on a True/False test?" The only way is "ON PURPOSE!!" How can anyone screw things up this bad? ANSWER - ON PURPOSE! What? We stand here watching this in the knowledge IT IS happening and everyone in the country claims the Sgt. Schultz defense, "I know nut-ting". Soon, an Elected Civil Servant, Joe Arpaio, will confirm the actual "Truth". The media will try to discredit his findings, just like it has before. But, this time the Patriots of America will be heard and the "public rape" will be uncovered and stopped. When we are asked the question, "when did you first become aware...?" or "why didn't you notice...?" How do we respond? "Well, I thought someone else would do something. I just couldn't believe that could happen." And then, our most brilliant, most transparent, best loved, non-president will be in another country, writing his third book, most likely entitled "How I Destroyed The United States Of America". I can see him now, catching the last plane out (his personal jet, or Soros') and escaping prosecution by fleeing to Nigeria, setting up his own government with US Dollars he stole, and playing on his own personal golf course. Laughing, I'm sure, "what a bunch of Christian idiots....Allah, Auk-bar." Even Chris Matthews knows Obama is about to bolt and run: he is planning nothing but his escape. Leaving Hillary to pick up the liberal pieces. Watch it closely over the next few days and weeks as people realize what was obvious, to some, all along.  Jesus Christ has more recorded history than Barak Hussein Obama. It will now become necessary for the MSM "smoke" to  blind us from "truth and reason", while the minions hide from the consequences of their collective stupidity. In the Penn State case, the  witnesses will be vetted until discredited, and the masses can then find comfort. But we'll try to stop that. In the case of Obama vs. America, we will always blame the Victim. Unfortunately, the Victim is US.

BW, Benjamin Wells Lane, is a mid-thirties would-be songwriter and Dee is a grandmotherly type matron who owns a beach side bar in Malibu. He is trying to sell his songs; he lives in a back room of DEE'S BACKPORCH and sings in the evenings. E99 is his dog. (The name is from an earlier scene).


INT. BW'S ROOM - LATE DAY

BW walks in and slams the door. He throws his coat on the floor in anger.



BW (to himself)
That's all folks! No more kicking BW around!

He sits down on the bed with his head in his hands. E99 comes over for some attention,
but he pushes her away.



KNOCK ON THE DOOR

DEE (VO)
BW? ... You okay in there?

He just sits in the same position.



BW
Go away, I'm alright.

Dee disregards his comments and enters anyway. She comes over and sits down next to
him as he maintains the same position.



DEE
Bad day, huh?



BW (head down)
It's over ... and I lost.

DEE puts her arm around his shoulder and seeks to comfort him.



DEE
Why don't you let go of it for a minute?

BW just shakes his head.



BW
Nah, I'm through, I've had it! I quit! I'm not going to sing or
write anymore.

Dee is silent for a moment as she pats BW's shoulder. She gets somewhat more
deliberate.



DEE
BW ... I never told you about my husband Mac, did I?

BW sits silently in the same position.



DEE (cont.)
Guess I don't talk about him much, 'cause he's such a big part
of me. But I'm gonna' tell you about him now.

She gets a contented, peaceful look on her face as she remembers.



DEE (slight smile and a tear)
Mac was like you ... He was a rainbow chaser. He always said
(remembering thoughtfully) he said, "Dee, you don't lose if
you never quit."

She wipes a tear from her eye and continues.



DEE
Before he went on to be with his Maker, he told me ... and he knew
he was going, BW, (sob) he told me ... (sob) he said "Dee, I was up
last night thinking about it ... 'bout my life, 'bout all of it."
(she cries remembering it well)and he said, "Dee, I know it's over ...
and I looked at myself in the mirror ... and it all came clear to me,
(she wipes a tear) the victory wasn't a prize, the victory was the
journey."

Dee let's herself cry as BW joins her through her years of tears. He puts his arms around
her as she regains her composure and continues.



DEE
You ain't gonna' quit, neither. You get your guitar and you go sing for
those people ... and you remember what you gotta' do. Sooner or later,
we all have to look in that mirror.

They hug as BW picks up his guitar and they move toward the door.
